We are a company active in the field of Real Estate- Tourism, the owner of the 5-star standard Ana Mandara Ninh Binh Resort & Spa, in Gia Van commune, Gia Vien district, Ninh Binh province which is near many tourist attractions and cultural monuments. The resort includes 52 villas (172 rooms) with restaurant, bar, spa center, swimming-pools, tennis ground, event & conference hall and children care zone...
Our resort will officially open in October 2010 and is managed by Hotel Collection Indochine (HCI).
To set up and operate the resort, We wish to find candidates with the aspirations and capabilities for the position of FINANCE CONTROLLER as follows:

Job description:
Job Summary:
The Financial Controller is responsible for the overall financial aspects of the resort and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in implementation of accounting systems and management of multi site operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all the milestones in the critical path are achieved within the timeline given
• Organize, supervise and train the financial operation departments, which are accounting, cashier, purchasing, store and I.T.
• Prepares and reviews the job descriptions for all subordinates within the department
• Arrange work schedule and policy and procedures for finance department.
• Supervise and ensure accuracy of financial reports.
• Set up internal accounting control systems and maintain system effectiveness and efficiency.
• Consolidate resort's annual budget, provide functional guidance and support to operating managers.
• Review daily sales and costs report, monthly financial reports, operating statements with analysis and comments.
• Oversee purchasing functions, which include food and beverages, engineering and general supplies.
• Control of stock and liaise with relevant departments with respect to their supply requirements and storage condition of stock.
• Liaise with banks, insurance institutes, external auditors and government offices.
• Participate in negotiation of service expenditure contracts.
• Take full responsibility preparation of monthly financial reports and other financial information in a timely and accurate manner in accordance the Company's requirements.
• Take part in regular reviews and provide business support to the General Manager and Executive Management Team including the analysis of financial information for recommendations for further improvement.
• Implement and ensure appropriate financial and internal controls in compliance with Company Policies and procedures.
• Responsible for leading the Finance department team and guiding them to ensure the daily operation and the financial close process, including the pre¬- close and post-close preparation and review of balance sheet accounts reconciliations are completed.
• Responsible for the preparation of annual budget, which will involve in reviewing of future business plans to develop the budget.
• Work with the internal and external auditors on statutory audit and tax requirements.
• Financial forecasting, planning and analysis process and identify and resolve potential financial risk areas in timely manner.
• Actively involved in the training plans of the Finance team.
• Carry out reasonable requests made by the General Manager /General Director/ BoM

Job Requirement

Minimum education level: Bachelors
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate well in English
• Ability to support the business financial
• Experiences in Finance management of projects, sales activity
• Understanding of Vietnam Tax Laws
• Basic understanding of Domestic Regulatory Compliance requirements with regard to Business transactions in Vietnam
• Ability to deliver business partnering results
• Good understanding and application skills with respect to policies, processes
• High level of ethics and high level of energy
• Strong at leadership skill, project management and time management skill
• Computer proficiency with good understanding of ERP systems, familiar with accounting software
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment and under difficult conditions
• Demonstrate energy and enthusiasm at work by being 'hands on' and organized.
• Portray a strong and fair effective leadership style
• Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment and under difficult conditions
• Good understanding of the hotel operation & the local competitors
• Single or married status with remote location experience
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education and Formal Training:
• Bachelor degree or MBA in finance/ accounting
• A minimum of 4-6 years experience as Assistant Financial Controller or FC in quality establishments (priority candidates held FC/ CFO positions at large firms, or in companies operating in the field of tourism-hotels/resorts, we prefer candidates have good understanding of the hotel operation & the competitors)
• Solid experience in finance & accounting practice

• Vietnamese citizen, Vietnamese Oversea with age not over than 50 years old
